Job Title Customer Care Specialist (Term)
Job Description

You will primarily be responsible for ensuring plan member inquiries received at our Customer Care Centre by telephone and e-mail are promptly and accurately addressed. Since this is the first point of contact for our customers, it is critical that all inquiries are responded to with high levels of customer service and integrity. You will also be accountable for the accurate and timely processing of group and member enrolments, changes and terminations.

This opportunity is for an approximately 18 month long term position.


  • One to three years of experience in group insurance, preferably in a customer service role, is an asset

  • Grade 12 and CEBS courses would be an asset

  • Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and talk with customers

  • Ability to stay composed and organized in a high call volume environment

  • Capable of building and maintaining customer relations by providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to deal with complex inquiries and solve concerns for our customers in a timely manner

  • Ability to multi-task; must be detail orientated with the focus on quality and accuracy
